Description: Dave Gaffer (b. 02/12/2350) is a Bolian from the planet Bolarus IX. He is a former Starfleet Master Chief. He retired from Starfleet under questionable circumstances. Allegedly, he was involved with the Orions and he retired to avoid a court-martial. Gaffer has been arrested a few times on suspicion of smuggling and for various violations of trade agreements and treaties, though he has never been convicted of any of the charges. Gaffer is now an independent merchant and trader. He is still rumored to have some smuggling operations in and out of his WAYPOINT X club on Araxes. With his ship, the SS VULTURE, Gaffer carries freight for some questionable organizations. He pays a fare to the Constable to do business, who tends to look the other way.
